Shanghaiist #4

I just noticed that Shanghaiist.com published one of my photos today.
It is the fourth time one of my photos are posted on their website.

Cheerio!

Busy times..

I'll be on a break from writing here during the winter holidays, due to studying.

See you in a couple of weeks!

Amazing Shanghai 3D-map

This is kinda like a web-based Google Earth, enabling users to view most parts of Shanghai's inner city from a bird's eye perspective. It is indeed similar to Eniro's Utsikt feature which I have written about earlier, with the substantial difference that the Shanghai map is completely graphical and doesn't involve any aerial photography whatsoever. To me it looks like pretty much all of inner Shanghai's buildings are represented in accurate detail (albeit with some obvious height mistakes) - I can for instance clearly make out both of the apartment buildings I have previously resided in.

3D bird's eye view of the following Chinese cities are available;
上海 (Shanghai)
杭州 (Hangzhou)
深圳 (Shenzhen)
青岛 (Qingdao)
苏州 (Suzhou)
长沙 (Changsha)
广州 (Guangzhou)
成都 (Chengdu)
西安 (Xi'an)
厦门 (Xiamen)
大连 (Dalian)
合肥 (Hefei)
石家庄 (Shijiazhuang)
哈尔滨 (Harbin)

The following are "undergoing testing" (but seem to be working fine to me);
北京 (Beijing)
重庆 (Chongqing)
宁波 (Ningbo)
香港 (Hong Kong)
武汉 (Wuhan)
济南 (Jinan)
南昌 (Nanchang)

All of the maps aren't as detailed as the Shanghai one, though I'm sure they'll eventually be so.

Very cool.

More music

I'm not going to write anything about neither the producers of these songs, or the songs themselves.
